    Your shell is so beautiful, like burnished wood! Sounds like you are well taken care of and will enjoy quite a lengthy lifespan of love and devotion with your person. Happy tortoise POTD!

    Greetings Phillip! Happy Pet of the Day to you, and to your proud guardian!
    What a stunning creature you are, Phillip! As Avajoy has said, your shell is simply gorgeous, and I have to say, you have the sweetest face!
    What a wonderful gift your human's grandpa has handed down to him/her, a gift of love and friendship to treasure and cherish all the days of his/her life! And considering how amazingly long the life of a tortoise is, no doubt you and your person are committed to just that, a lifetime of friendship!
    Thanks to your person for sharing your beautiful self, your very touching story with us all! It was a pleasure learning all about your species, your happy life; an honor to have had the chance to pay tribute to the very special tortoise that you are, and all that you mean to your family!
    Lots of love to you on your big day, Phillip! I'm not sure if you're still hibernating, but when you awake, please have your person give you an extra treat and gentle pat on the shell, for me! Long and happy life to you, beautiful Phillip!

    Wow, that was so interesting to learn about you. Congrats Philip on POTD! What a great gift to inherit from somebody. I don't blame you for hibernating in the winter Philip. I'd love to do that too. Hats off to your owner for giving you a wonderful life and for being so devoted to you.
