    Maddie, Good Dog Ambassador!

Hi there Maddie! A very happy Dog of the Day to you! It's an honor to have such a deserving seasoned citizen, a true "Good Dog Ambassador," as our very special honoree!
What a beautiful girl you are, Miss Maddie, in body and spirit! Honestly, it's hard to believe you are 13 years young!

Thank goodness your Mom found you in time, Maddie, before you were returned to that horror of a puppy mill. So many of us are conflicted regarding purchasing a pup from a pet store, knowing that in doing so we perpetuate and help support those mills. But until this country wakes up and passes strict, enforceable laws regarding "breeders," it's impossible not to intervene in times of crisis such as yours. And how well your Mommy's compassion has been rewarded, having known your priceless love and devoted companionship these many year! What an inspiration you are to us all, Maddie; humans, canines (and cooks) alike!

Great thanks to your Mom for sharing your beautiful self; your heartwarming story and your heart melting photos with us all! (That photo of you napping in your Mom's backpack is beyond precious!) How blessed she is having a co-pilot, a best friend, a soul mate for life, in you!

Enjoy a very happy Dog of the Day, Miss Maddie, celebrating with your proud Mom and all of your adoring friends and fans! Hugs and kisses to you, beautiful Maddie! (Can't wait to go check out your website and cookbook!!!)
