Emo, you are so handsome and such a wonderful little guy! Thanks for sharing your story. I have two fur-faces, one from a shelter and one I found standing on a traffic island in downtown Baltimore (15 years ago). I love them both to bits, and I'm the lucky one to have them. Thanks for asking people to "Adopt, Not Shop." Merry, Merry Christmas to you, Mr. Emo, and your family, both 4-legged and 2-legged!

Good morning to you, Emo! That surely was a grand day, in 1999, when that nice lady stopped to help you. Any you, being such a smart pupper, knew she was a nice lady and went to her! From there, it seems the magic took hold and the 2 of you have been happily together since, with other four leggeds as well.

The photos of you are grand - I can understand the look on your face when I see you have a CAT banner on, ha haa. MEOWY Christmas indeed, woof! And let me add, the Crew of 15 you see in my siggy are ALL RESCUES!

What an extra special treat, having a beautiful seasoned citizen as our MOST deserving "top dog!!!" I can hardly believe you're 14 years young, Emo! You look so youthful, like a kid!
You are precious beyond words, Emo, and your heart warming, happy ending story brought tears to my eyes! How blessed you and your family are to have found your way to one another. And I couldn't agree more with your family; rescue is definitely the way to go, and you sweetheart are living proof of the utterly priceless rewards of the gift of rescue. And yes rescue is a gift, not only to the lucky adoptee, but to the human or family as well!
Thanks to your dear family for sharing your precious self with us all, Emo! I hope you and your family enjoy a very happy Dog of the Day, sweetheart! And to you and your people, and furry sibs all, a very Merry Christmas with many more to come!
