    Oh! First I've seen of this. I am sorry. I'll have to go check how old he was. And, he was a well established actor before M.A.S.H.

    I heard he was 96. He had a good old run. RIP, Harry Morgan! I loved his Colonel Potter character, and how anachronistic he was, in his cavalry breeches. I love the M*A*S*H episode where they somehow get him an actual HORSE!

    The article I read said that Sophie, the horse on the show, was one of his horses. He raised quarter horses. I also found out in that same article that the picture on his desk in M*A*S*H was his real life wife. Never knew that....and yes, he was 96.....

    RIP Harry. He not only had a long run on M A S H, but in life as well.

    He was on "Dragnet" too. I was just thinking about him the other day when I saw Alan Alda talking about the MASH writers on TV.
