I can not believe that he has passed on...RIP Col Potter.....
Oh! First I've seen of this. I am sorry. I'll have to go check how old he was. And, he was a well established actor before M.A.S.H.
RIP Harry.
.
I heard he was 96. He had a good old run. RIP, Harry Morgan! I loved his Colonel Potter character, and how anachronistic he was, in his cavalry breeches. I love the M*A*S*H episode where they somehow get him an actual HORSE!![]()
I've been finally defrosted by cassiesmom!
"Not my circus, not my monkeys!"-Polish proverb
The article I read said that Sophie, the horse on the show, was one of his horses. He raised quarter horses. I also found out in that same article that the picture on his desk in M*A*S*H was his real life wife. Never knew that....and yes, he was 96.....
RIP Harry. He not only had a long run on M A S H, but in life as well.

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
Ecclesiastes 3:1The clock of life is wound but once and no man has the power
To know just when the hands will stop - on what day, or what hour.
Now is the only time you have, so live it with a will -
Don't wait until tomorrow - the hands may then be still.

He was on "Dragnet" too. I was just thinking about him the other day when I saw Alan Alda talking about the MASH writers on TV.
