Hi Keller! SO happy to meet you, precious boy! Oh yes, I sure did love reading all about your happy ending rescue story, and your photos couldn't be any more heart melting!!! It breaks my heart to think anyone, let alone a furkid's family, could leave a defenseless, helpless family member behind! But thankfully you were found in time, and we give great thanks to all who had a hand in rescuing you, most especially to your forever family, for giving such a deserving doggie a second chance at life, and what a wonderful life it is! As your human has said, despite being deaf and partially blind, you have let your challenges keep you from loving your family, and life, to its fullest, and you couldn't be more beautiful if you tried! What a brave, beautiful (inside and out) boy you are, Keller, and SO very worthy of the title, Dog of the Day, EVERY day! I wish I could cover your sweet, beautiful face with a zillion kisses!
Thanks for brightening my dark and rainy day with your heartwarming story, your uplifting and inspirational story, Keller! Meeting you has been the high point of my day! Enjoy your well earned day in the spotlight, sweetheart, being loved and pampered to pieces! Long and happy life to you, beautiful Keller! Hugs and kisses to you, beautiful Keller, and to your fursibs Jack the Golden and Elvis the Beagle boy, too!

    Hello Keller,

What a happy ending to your story sweetie. I can't imagine how you
survived all alone in the wilderness. You must have a Guardian Angel that
helped along the way. You sure look like a gorgeous boy now. I love your
soft fuffy fur. Congratulations on being honored as our very special
DOG OF THE DAY. Sending out lots of hugs & kisses to you sweetheart.

    Keller's Mom

Thank you everyone for your awesome words about my little dude Keller! He's such an amazing soul. We are having so much fun together. He's learning hand signals and his deafness doesn't stop him at all! He's such a lover. Hard to believe that when he was found at the campsite people thought he had passed away he was in such bad shape 10lbs (now 26 and still underweight but we're getting there!) Ravaged by fleas and ticks and heartworm. But he came back from it like a champ! Bless the people that saved him and his foster mom that took care of him before he came to the rescue I work for and into my home!

So nice to hear personally from Keller's Mom! Thank you SO much for the added pics...I got my Keller fix for the day! He's simply precious!
Bless all who saved this beautiful boy; he's one in a million!
Can't believe he was only 10 lbs. when found! He truly is a fighter and a survivor, with the heart of lion, and so smart too, nailing those hand signals!
Hugs and kisses to you, Keller! We love you!

    Mister Keller

What a beautiful boy, and I'm so glad he's found a loving home. Keller looks like a twin to our Jackie-Boo, who was found wandering on the shoulder of I-95 North. We adopted him, and he's never been anything but joy to us. Jackie, too, is partially deaf, but is totally blind now. He's so gentle--the toughest thing he's ever done is mauled a pillow. Mister Keller, I'm so glad you're happy and loved, and God bless your "parents."
