    Oh Wow!!! I love penguins but these beautiful sweaters make them look even cuter. What an act of love to make them to help these poor penguins keep warm and recover from the oil spill

    Amen to that, Karen! I know the needles from the yarn and that's pretty much where it stops.

    This story was on the news last night complete with a video clip. The penguins look absolutely adorable in their sweaters and they don't seem to mind the new garb a bit. Along with some sweaters I'd love to include a good supply of Dawn dish soap. Dawn has proven to be very effective for cleaning animals caught in oil slicks and it doesn't harm their skin. But best of all, Dawn contributes $1 to wildlife rescue for every bottle sold! I won't use anything else!!!

    If anyone knows where donations can be sent for this extraordinary project, would you post in and let us know? Thanks!

    They will have to knit holiday sweaters for the penguins. The orange sweater is fitting for Halloween. So Cute!
