Her Star still shines in our hearts

Star crossed the RB a year ago today. I still miss her every day, we all miss her. I've been working on a painting of her, and when I work on it, I feel like she is still here with me. There just are no words, but you here all know the lingering sadness left by the loss of one so deeply cherished.

We miss you , sweet girl....

The paining is beautiful....truly beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with us. You are very talented.

I know the pain is still there and will always be. I am sorry you are sad today. I know how you feel, as we are losing our dear Scruff.

Know that Star is looking down on you with a "smile" and a wag. And, she is probably right beside you when you paint - that is why you feel she is still here...because she is.

That painting made me smile. It is so typical, that pose of Star. Aw, nice job.

Always in our hearts, and she obviously left deep paw prints on yours as well.

Precious Star. When I look at the sky on clear nights, I still can't get past Star light, Star bright ... without my eyes leaking. ((((HUGS)))) for Hu-Mom and Dad.

A beautiful painting of your special Star. I remember meeting her
at a Findlay getogether. It was Smokey's first ever visit to a dog park
and I was a little anxious meeting so many new dogs. Star was such a
sweetheart & came over to greet N sniff him. That was all it took for
both of us to relax and enjoy our first day at the park. Star was a very
special girl & she will live on in our memories forever.

The painting is awesome. What a lovely tribute to Star.
I truly feel your pain. I still miss Cody after 7 years. Not a day goes by that I don't think about him. But I know he and Star are happy and healthy at RB. {Hugs} and tear drops.

Thanks for your remembrances, everyone. Liz, I didn't realize that was your first time to Findlay - thanks for sharing that sweet story. Star was like that, very gracious, and I think she checked out every dog that came to the park (part of her job as Queen of the dogpark, I'm sure, lol)

My friend Kathy from Michigan called me yesterday. She's an artist and it's only a hobby but she is good. She told me she took the picture of MooShoo (the one I posted after he went to the RB) and is in the middle of painting his portrait. I know it's going to be dynamite because I've seen her work. I can't wait to see it!!

    Star's portrait is stunning!!!!
