Maya Linn has had this sneezing problem for a couple of years now. I've tried antihistimines, took her to my (former) vet who pumped her full of antibiotics and steroids, to no avail.
Well, rather than get my car fixed (I had money saved for it), Maya Linn is my first priority. I took her to the same Holistic Vet, Dr. Soutter, who has been treating Bartie and doing a wonderful job!!!! His blood levels are all within normal limits and both his kidneys and t-cells are perfect!!!!
Anyway, getting back to Maya Linn...
It turns out Maya Linn is a "phosphorus" cat. Phosphorus is important in many metabolic processes. She put Maya on Phosporus, which are teeny (the head of a pin) marble-like pills. She told me to crush ONLY two and add a little half-and-half. She lapped it it. Dr. Soutter said only do this once. She's on twice daily doses of gel Lisine and a body immune supplement.
She's beginning to perk up and her sneezing is tapering off!!!!!! The sparkle in her eyes is coming back. The first night she came up to me, put her cheek on mine, and wrapped both front paws around my arm and we both fell sound asleep. It's been a long time!!

I've never heard of a "phosphorus" cat before, but we all keep learning about new things here.
