I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.

That's funny, but true as far as the language that birds in captivity learn. Both of my brothers had parrots and they were very talkative. Not only did they learn words and phrases that were taught to them, but they also picked up some very colorful ones that shouldn't be repeated in public! Their cages got covered when company would arrive!![]()

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
Ecclesiastes 3:1The clock of life is wound but once and no man has the power
To know just when the hands will stop - on what day, or what hour.
Now is the only time you have, so live it with a will -
Don't wait until tomorrow - the hands may then be still.

Hee hee....some of those cockatoo's know more four letter words that I do.
I went to a party once where the caged White Cockatoo told everyone there to F*** off at least once....I think that's all he had been taught to say, and the bloody thing never shut up all night.
