As most of you know, I've been on a job hunt ALL summer. The vet clinic applications I sent in were to no avail, and I was getting really disheartened about it.
Well, I applied to be a desk assistant in my dorm, and my interview was last Thursday. Our assistant hall director said she would email me with information about my employment within 24 hours.
I never received an email, so I was very disappointed and figured that I didn't get the job.
Well, today, I received an email! Apparently the email had bounced back or something, but the email said I was hired!
I only have sub hours because I didn't really want set hours. I figured it would be better to be called in when needed and that way I could focus more on my studying and everything than have to work. So, I will be called in when needed.
I am so excited though! This is my first real job!

Easiest $$ ever. I loved it because it meant that I got paid to study or hang out with friends. You also get to know a lot of people.
