Well, whaddya think ... is she adjusting well?
(that's how I found her when I came in from work...)
Here's the scoop:
She's a pound-purry... on 11/1 someone from the Sherriff's office found/picked her up by the side of the HWY.She belongs/belonged to someone--(except for being dirty) she was/is well taken care of! Even has a collar (my favorite color I might add--BRIGHT BLUE--maybe that was an added gift from Soph)! At any rate, the original owner never came to claim her. I was smitten the moment I saw/held her.... and on "THE" day (the first day she was up for adoption; 11/7) I showed up at the pound WAY before it opened--First customer, first choice--SHE'S MINE!!
Little is known about her age, my guess is 4 - 6months. She hasn't been introduced to the other critters yet--waitin' to see if she passes the 'health inspection.' (We have a vet appointment next Wednesday morning. *crosses fingers for a clean bill of health*) After that, she'll be introduced to the rest of the furries....
Mom gave me one condition on adopting her... "First place you take her is by my classroom so I can see her!" lol Second place she visited was the bathroom sink (at the house)---she was one DIRTTTYYYY lil' girl!!! Oh and did I mention, she came complete with fleas?!
I think I got them all off but not quite sure....
Dad, never one to admit he likes cats (but if you leave the room, he'll baby-talk them!![]()
) readily said, "She's CUTE!"
We still don't have a name, but we DO have pictures!
She is QUITE the little ham!!
