New "game"... Cat of the Day

... find the cat in "Cat of the day" archives, that looks the most like the one you have.

I thought of this when I saw today's cat, Alisa. I'll check the rest and post later.

Great idea! And the funny thing is, I immediately thought of your Fister when I saw Alisa today!

Oh Fister, what a wonderful page for you and all about you!

I never knew your whole story.. what a tale! So glad you finally decided to start coming up those stairs! And my goodness, you certainly make your feelings known when someone tries to do something to you that you don't want them to.

You are still a fine, fabulous, handsome cat, and Cat of Every Day for Randi.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

This was not as easy as it looks - especially looking for a gray and white with a gray nose and a soul patch...but what fun it was looking back over so many adorable kitties!

    So...here's Eddie

And here's Long-haired version of Edwina

And of course...here and here for the "real" things!

Edwina's 15 years old? I had no idea! And Eddie is 10? WOW.

I am searching the cats - and found dear handsome Filou: http://catoftheday.com/archive/2002/August/08.html

Now for mine. Here is Abby&Buddy'sMom's Abby followed by my Cole:

Oscar...he looks a lot like Lily, or vice versa - but his face is IDENTICAL to that User Account pic you can get on Windows XP. Darned if I can find it!

Or, his COTD twin is Malee, on the left:

Closest I could find to Zoe - the same unique tabby markings (marble?):

Great idea. Here's Malibu who I think looks a lot like my Ziggy Stardust.

It's very late right now so I'll have to search later for the others.

This IS harder than it looks!!! Remembering, of course, there is only ONE Princess Pinot!!

A couple that could be close are below.

Sorry, Gretta was deleted, lovely kitty but not as close as originally thought...

One thing I couldn't find (which doesn't show TOO much in most pictures) is the dilute calico underneath. It shows so much more in person.

    ...and another....

    AND A NEW CANDIDATE!!

Just HAD to post this for the Pinot look-a-like pictures!

...and another new one, although not kitty of the day, a sibling to kitty of the day, look at Skye in the middle - who was described as soft grey with dilute calico...heard that before?
