I just love your name, sweetheart, and how fitting a name it is, for it surely was kismet, destined to be, that you and your family should find your way to one another! And yes, you are a Preaknesss kitty! I hadn't thought of that until I read Pinot's post...A Baltimore kitty Cat of the Day for Preakness day; how neat is that! But one thing we know for sure, unlike those Derby runners, you belong in the "winner's circle" EVERY day of the year!
What a wonderful rescue story is your, Kismet, extra special as you and your fursis Xena were both rescued, and kept in the family; you're even neighbors!!! Hopefully that happy renunion will happen one day, but until then, it's great knowing that two such deserving kitties found their way to such loving forever families, both being loved and cherished to the max!

I'm so, so very happy to hear that all turned out well following your encounter with that wicked houseplant, that your surgery was successful! Oh, what a frightening time for you and your family! And though I'm sure your family appreciates your "adeventurous" side, stick to catnip...a safe (and fun) kitty plant!

Kismet is the best! That's what I'm talkin' about. Kismet the coolest kitty I think all bulbs (tulip etc.) and poinsettias are toxic for cats and I'm sure there's many more. I just keep them all out of jumping reach(not easy) to be on the safe side. Enjoy your special day! Peace and love
