    Oh Kiva I loved reading your story. You have a Mom that took such very good care of you and gladly returned the love by taking care of her. I love all the pics of you and your Mom, you two were meant to find each other! Happy dotd to you

    Miss Kiva!

    What a beautiful girl she is. I especially love the pic where she's snuggling with her mom on the sofa. It's so wonderful to see a human loving their dog as much as the dog loves them. Thanks for sharing--it's a gift to all of us dog lovers.

    Kiva ...

    I LOVE this story .. I have a friend who's the president of Love-A-Pet, Inc (Fayetteville, Ga), and she has beautiful dalmation, also deaf (Adam). His foster is teaching him sign language, also ... Adam is just a wonderful dog and your story just sends encouragment that Adam can have a wonderful life when he finds his "forever home". All of God's furry creations are wonderful .. I can't imagine life without them.
    Your Kiva is beautiful, and I'm glad she found her "forever home" with you!

    Hi there Kiva! Happy, happy Dog of the Day to you, sweet spottie girl! What a beautiful Dal you are, Kiva; just look at that smile, the love radiating from those gorgeous blue eyes! Like my poster pals before me, I was so moved by your utterly precious photos (matching spottie gear, a spottie snowman), reading of the everlasting bond of love, trust friendship you and your Mommy share! You two truly are soul mates, best friends for life! It's no wonder you're on her CD cover, that her indie company is named after you; you're her soul and inspiration!

    One of my most cherished books of all time is a little known gem titled "Dogs and Their Women," by Louise Taylor; a compilation of heartwarming photos and essays celebrating the very special bond between dogs and their ladies, of all ages, shapes and sizes!     What a wonderful life you and your Mom have been blessed with, traveling the country together, coast to coast; camping and performing, just enjoying the sights and sounds and each others company! I can't imagine a better traveling partner, a better best friend than you, Kiva; you're simply amazing!

    Congratulations on being crowned our very special, most deserving honoree, sweetheart! It was a pleasure and truly an honor, getting to know you; reading all about your wonderful life and all that you mean to your Mommy, all that she means to YOU!
