    eylid growths

    within about a month a blackish growth about pimple size grew on my dogs lower eyelid. anyone have exp. with having these removed or know of options?

    There are so many things these growths can be that it would be useless to try to guess at it. I think your vet would be the best one to advise you on this.

    Is it under the eyelid on the bottom? My hound has a mole there that just popped up and it's tiny, not a big deal he's an older boy and I have seen them on older dogs and it doesn't bother him.

    it is on the lower eylid, right in the rim and it does bother her it is touching the her eye causing tearing.

    Then, off to the vet, just to make sure it doesn't irritate her eye any further, and that it is nothing serious. Better safe than sorry, right? Poor baby, give her a kiss from me!

    If its touching the eye you should see a vet to be sure it isn't scratching the surface.
