Fess up! How many of you would do this...

I was at the store Friday buying the cat's monthly cat food stash. I get them 18 pound bags of dry food. There were 4 bags that had free cat toys in them...at the bottom of the pile. I made a clerk get one out for me. Was I mean or what? I figured my cats deserved the free toys as much as the next cat. I would have got it myself but couldn't move all those bags because of my back.
Would you all do that to get a free toy for YOUR pet?

I wouldn't have asked the clerk, I would have just moved all the bags myself - IF they were the kind of toy my pet would like.

Without doubt, like Karen, I would have moved all the bags myself as far as I have no problems with my back.

I definately would have moved the bags to get to the right one! - But, have I missed something? Why weren't there toys in all of them?

I think the toys are just for a while to help sell the food. They are just coming out, I think. Only four bags were marked that they had them in it. They had a picture of a hot pink mouse at the top and bottom of the bag. Very eye catching. The toys are two of the furry mice. My cats love them, by the way. I would have moved the bags myself if I could have but sadly, I need to ask for help sometimes anymore.

No brainer!! I'm sure the clerk was happy to help you. After all, someone was going to get that bag! Glad you got the goods, Connie! Or should I say, the boys!

I would have done the same thing too. As a poor college kid anything free is good.

The question is, why weren't the bags with the good stuff stacked on top? Where I work, I always make sure that the "bonus" packages are in the front / on the top, because you KNOW people are going to want them and will dig through to get them. I wouldn't have been embarrassed to ask a clerk to help - that's what we're there for!
