So, I was in Wal Mart and my phone rang, it was my Captain (he will always be my Captain I guess), said they were on their was to the boat and someone wanted to talk to me.. It was BARRY!! Barry is going back to work on the JMD after being cured of his bone cancer!! So, there I was in Wal Mart crying and excited, sad that I had to miss his first trip back but so excited that he is CURED of cancer, got hired back and is able to get his job on the JMD back.. He said he will go back for a 1 year recheck in August and should be home free after that.. All tests so far show he is cancer free..
Gosh, if I were there, every day of his first trip back would be a celebration of some sort.. I just hate that I had to miss this because it is SO special (to me it is anyway).
Thank you to all of you who helped with prayers for Barry during his time of need. They paid off in the best way!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! HE IS ON THE BOAT WORKING AGAIN!!
