Hey Bode, you are a handsome dude. I love your bright-eyed alertness as well as your general appearance. Even though your Mom says you may not be the brightest pooch on the planet, I suspect you are plenty smart enough to fulfill your mission. You may be a little over zealous with your demonstrations of affection but that certainly does not detract from your intellect or your worthiness whatsoever. If I understand your Mom correctly, you definitely have all the characteristics of a great companion. I hope you and your family have many more happy years together.

Your exact breed blend may forever remain a mystery, but no matter your lineage, you couldn't be more perfect if you tried! I'm so happy you escaped that dreadful puppy mill, Bode, finding your way to the bestest forever home a doggie could ever hope for! You had a rough start at life, but as your Mommy says, those awful days are but a distant memory now, with nothing but happy, carefree, fun and love filled years to look forward to! How lucky you and your Mom are, to have found your way to one another; best friends and soul mates for life!

Just be glad they didn't crop his ears! We rescued a Dobie mix some years ago with the same combo -- soulful ears and a wagging stub! We also used to have a black German Shepherd named Bodhi, who was also a sweet soul and boon companion. Many happy years with your Bode.
