Living in the Lap of Luxury - Doggie Style

We finished breakfast, Dad had his coffee and the morning newspaper. I went to my bedroom to straighten up a bit. After a time, he asked if I could get him another cup of coffee. Hmm  easy for him to do. So I went out and this is what I saw:

Willy was QUITE comfy, thank you very much, and had NO intentions of moving! Any efforts to shift him resulted in him grumbling. I got Dad his coffee instead, it was easier.

So I puttered around in the kitchen a bit, then returned to my bedroom and discovered this:

Lacey was also quite comfy. :hysterical:

Pets in this household got it made!

I love it!! Willy looks zonked out in your dads lap. And look at the smile on your dads face.......priceless!! I would have gotten him more coffee too.
Lacey looks all snuggled in up there on the bed too. Too cute!!!
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

They sure have it made! I love that picture of your dad and Willy. Of course, he couldn't get up to get more coffee. Silly Lacey found a good spot to rest his cute little head, too.

Haha they sure do have it made! Spoiled fluffs!!

I was just thinking yesterday as I was grudgingly leaving the house for an anatomy test I wasn't prepared for... How lucky would it be if I was my dogs? They were all sprawled out on the couch laying in the sun from the window. How unfair!

The best thing is seeing the smiles Willy brings. Pets are so wonderful.

Such a cute pic. I wouldnt have wanted to disturb Willy either. The fluff on bed was sweet also. Your babies have a very good home and mom. Kay in NC

Oh my goodness! I like the expressions on your dad's and Willy's faces in the first picture! I'm with Happylabs- how wonderful to see the smiles Willy brings. And Lacey, sweety... that might be mom's bed but it is your place! Happy Friday, Freedom and Mr. S., fluffs and kitties!

I love the picture of Willy and your dad. Willy is knocked out. He looks like he's getting the really good kind of sleep.

Dad was clowning around, and yup, Willy WAS zonked out! After a whole night's sleep on MY bed, where he is a bed hog, he was still tired! LOL

Thanks for all the lovely comments.

Wow - Willy is still Dad's - isn't he? I think that is the best pic I ever saw of Dad - he just looks so happy (and healthy in spite of all)!. I do believe that you made the right choice by bringing Willy into your family as a full time member.
Yes my Marlin Darlin - I still love you, you handsome devil! Hugs and nose kisses to ALL - including the girls of course!

Hey, come on....this is a tough life. And exhausting too.

We say they are so tired during the day because they stayed ever vigilant all night to protect us. Best excuse we could come up with.
