    Bridgham Farm in Winter

We haven't been for a farm walk in ages, as the snow was SO DEEP! My fluffs would have disappeared completely, ha haa. But we had a deep cold snap, so the doggies were walking on top of the snow in my back yard, so I figured we could make a trip to the farm.

The dogs were THRILLED to be able to run about! Been a tough winter for them, too. The folks with larger dogs have the paths trampled down; Marlin found them difficult to walk on, and I had to show him to walk NEXT to the path, where it was all even.

You can the white frozen expanse of the field. Tasha is closest; Lacey is in the middle and I "think" that is Willy way up front. Hard to tell, can't even see what color sweater that is, ha haaa. The 2 girls are in red, the 2 boys are in blue.

Tasha stopped to look back at me, Lacey is way up front, and I think that is Willy in between.

It is STILL important to stop and check P mail messages. Tasha

Tasha just loved to run and run

    More to come.

Willy and Lacey. Their friend Gulliver lives on the other side of the fence, so his folks walk him in this way.

Sun reflects off the frozen snow.

Tasha and Lacey checking on rabbit tracks.

Lacey kept charging off ahead, then dashing back to me. Wore herself out, this was GOOD!

    The path through the woods.

    More photos to share.

Marlin got busy with sniffing and then he had to rush to catch up with us.

Going down to the Reservoir. Thank goodness my flock show NO interest in going on the water. It was frozen ON TOP only.

    Water views.

At this point, my "new" camera batteries died. So that is all I was able to get.

Willy took off after a squirrel (no worries, he was much to far away to catch it). Tasha followed, but she'd keep stopping to look back and check in with me. What good girl!

This is such a lovely area, I am so glad I found it last March!
    That's all. Hope you enjoyed!

Those are great pictures!! Good thing the fluffs have on red and blue coats or you wouldn't be able to see them in all that white.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

What a gorgeous area! I can see why the Fluff's love it. I would too!

It looks like a fun day! I'll bet your fluffs were ready for all that outside time. It'd been a cold and icy winter here too and it makes it tough to get the pups out!

That's such a pretty area to be able to take The Fluffs, Sandi - both wooded and open. No wonder they love it. And now Willy gets to go off leash too! I didn't know that there was that much uninhabited space left in RI! The last time I was up there (in the 70's), it was disappearing at an alarming rate. I didn't even recognize some of the areas I had grown up in - they had changed that much!
Or maybe it's that Brigham Farm is in MA - and you just slipped across the state line????

Love it when you post pictures of the farm. Almost feels like I'm there walking along with my own fur buds. Dogs love to have a large area to sniff out rabbit tracks or fox tracks, we're lucky to have great trails too but we don't have such a large open area as yours have. Love the colourful coats against the white snow.

Totally enjoyed these pictures, I wish we had somewhere like that to walk around here, or I could let Mikey loose. Either one would be nice!

I seriously don't know how you tell the difference between your fluffs. They all look the same. I love these pictures! Beautiful fluffs, farm, scenery! Thanks for taking us on a walk with you!

What a perfect area. Such open land and the snow looks beautiful. I'm sure the pups loved it and got a great workout as well. You can't ask for much more than that.
