    Bart saw a Holistic Veterinarian today...

    His thyroid counts are SOOOO off the charts, they can't get a reading!! AND...his blood pressure is through the roof too!!

    Because his thryroidism is so out of control, there's nothing Dr. Soutter can do holistically. So, she's continuing the Methamizole 2x a day and has also put him on supplements to increase his appetite and help lower his blood pressure.

    Poor baby's got so many things wrong. I told Dr. Soutter I just want to make him happy and comfortable for however long it takes.

    He's dropped 3 pounds and is now down to 6 lbs. I'm just glad I've got great friends in rescue who have offered to pay for his vet bill. Otherwise he would've wound up in a shelter and most likely euthanized!!!

    Thanks, ladies!!! He's back to his old self again. He's taking the meds like a champ. The gates are up and there's no hissing or anything!! I think this is going to be a very smooth transition.
