Sorry I've been kinda MIA lately. Time flies by so fast, specially when I have a baby to keep me busy! Katie's 10 mo old now. At her 9 mo wellcheck, she weighted 21.5 lbs and was 28 inches long. Her doctor was amazed at how advance her language development is, because at 9 mo, she could already speaks 5 words very clearly: mommy, grandma, dog, eat and hello (of course, all are in Vietnamese). She also says "caca" for Mocha She understands a lot more than she can speak, though. She can clap her hands, give high five, wave, stomp her feet, dance (wiggle her butt ), make coughing, snoring, yawning, and sneezing sounds when asked, nod or shake her head to show her likes & dislikes, she can identify her head, eyes, nose, ears, mouth, hands, feet & tummy by either pointing at it, or using it (churning her nose, wrinkling her eyes, etc..), and a whole bunch of things around our house like the TV, lights, her toys, etc.. She pays attention to her environment, and absorbs everything we teach her like a sponge!

She crawls very fast, sits up unsupported, and can pull herself up into a standing position by grasping onto something. She's full of energy and full of love.

I've never been as busy as I was during the last few months, but never have I been as happy either, so I can't complain

Since we have membership, we took her to Sears for her Christmas portraits, but she didn't want to cooperate at all.. so, the last three pics were the best ones I have from the session. My brother actually took better pics of her at home, but I'd have to wait until he has time to upload them.

I can't see the pictures, but I am sure she is adorable. I can relate to being incredibly busy. I have an 8 month old who is a bundle of energy. However, they are loads of fun!

She was in a strange environment, and had strangers fussing over her trying to make her smile . I have not had any lucks getting her to smile for the "professional" camera.

My brother took some incredible pics of her at Chirstmas.. but you'll have to join me in waiting until he has time to upload them. He's applying for his residency right now, so he hardly have any free times..
