    Prayers, please, POST SURGERY-SEE POST 102! :) :)

As some of you know, probably through FB, as I haven't really posted about it here, my husband, Coop, is having a very bad time. He has bad back trouble, for years, but it has reached a peak in the last several weeks. He's been through (lately) several rounds of meds and three doctors, and is going to see a specialist on Wednesday. The basis if the diagnosis is stenosis of the spine with other disc issues. The latest MRI shows further narrowing and deterioration and he can barely move. He's also having lightheadedness and dizzy spells (both new) which we thought were the narcotics previously (briefly) prescribed, but that's not the case. I cannot tell you how worried I am and how scared he is. He's a rock of a person and this is killing him. He actually asked me to bring him Pinot (our kitty for those who don't know) just so he could hug her. He couldn't bend down or pick her up.

Please, prayers for healing for a wonderful man who has the biggest heart in the world. Thanks for listening.

Note for those from FB-he asked me not to post on FB as he has too many relatives and friends who would be too concerned...

Oh, COOP - Many many prayers that you heal soon! I want to meet you and Maggie for lunch in Calgary again one day!

He truly is a wonderful, wonderful man!

Maggie, is there any specific treatment for stenosis?

The treatment options at this point are not pleasant. It will probably involve surgery if they can't, once again, get things calmed down. I'm hoping there's some new therapy he can try; surgery is not something either of us think would be the best option.

Thanks everyone for the prayers - I'll report after the specialist tomorrow.

Thoughts and prayers going out for you and for Coop. I'm hoping that things will improve for him, and that his pains will be able to be managed, and that any surgery be fast and fix him permanently.
