And then there were 9 :)

As of last night the herd has increased to 9. I had posted a while back about a stray that had been in the backyard since late spring/early summer. I tried everybody I know to try and find her a home but none of them worked out. It was going to be really cold last night and the decision was made to bring her into the basement, eventually adding her to the herd unless a better offer suddenly pops up...still hopeful there. Anyway I will post some pictures soon but as of now Splotch is an indoor cat! Just hoping she didn't destroy the basement while we have been at work today

    Hooray! Welcome HOME, Splotch!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

wahoo! She has figured out what the litter box is. I have never had a rescue that couldn't figure that out but there is always a first time...and we played for a bit this morning with the fleece snake and the jingle ball...she is settling in quite happily...have to put something on our laps when we go to sit with her, she really REALLY likes to knead....

Great to hear she's settling quick and fine Tell us more about what she does, A quick learner? Nice that she already found out what a litter box is. Sweet that she likes to knead, That was really cute for me as I don't own a cat anymore
