Just after saying goodbye to Elizabeth Edwards, now I learn today from the local news that Aretha Franklin, the "Queen of Soul," has pancreatic cancer.. one of the least-successfully-treatable ones.
She had surgery late last month, which she says was successful.

Yes how sad for her.. I heard this on the news last night.. Now this morning the news said that she had surgery last week & is at home now resting & doing good.. I am wishing Her the Best.. Sending lots of Prayers..
