    Zazou has to loose weight!!

During our cruise Zazou has taken advantage of the situation! Our son Jo, who was taking care of the cats, put enough food in the bowls for the whole day. A "normal" cat would agree and never "over-eat"!
But not our Zazou !! She ate ALL the food she could find, leaving the others with an empty bowl all day !!
Result: she had gained so much weight........!
You will all agree that she even looks as if she is pregnant ! Don't worry, she cannot be
I went to the vet with her, so now she is put on a Hills R/D diet!! She can only have 50g per day
That won't be easy, because I always feed all cats together! But no worries, I will find a way!! Zazou HAS TO loose weight, for her own good!!
The good thing is that Zazou loves the new food !!!

    Here is miss fatty Zazou

Zazou! You're still such a beautiful kitty! Kisses and headbumpies to you!

I know it will be difficult to lighten the food portion; we had to do that with Pinot a while back. Expect some nips at your calf to let you know she hasn't had enough! If we free-poured food for Pinot, she'd be right up there with Zazou! Good luck!

Hi Zazou, I agree with your mom, you are still a very beautiful girl, but it's not good for your health. And as you seem to love the diet food, it should not be a problem Take care, and keep us posted on your progress, sweetie!

50 lashes for the bad cat sitter! (Only cuz he is a relative of course! LOL)

Goodness, Zazou, what were you thinking?

It went on quickly, but it is going to take time to get her down again.

Oh, Zazou, silly girl, overeating in times of stress is never a good thing! Don't hate mom too much for the d-i-e-t, we all want you to live a long healthy life, and so it is for your own good.

Poor Zazou. My meowmie had to put me on a diet too and I don't like it one bit. She says I'm on a diet for the rest of my life. She just doesn't understand that I'm a big girl and I get very hungry. She says it's for my own good so I will be healthier and live longer. I hope you'll do well on your diet. The only good thing about my diet is that I get to eat a lot of canned food now because it's higher in protein and has fewer calories. Good luck.

Zazou, you are a beautiful kitty. Good luck with the diet. My kitty also needs to lose some weight. Is the Hills R/D a dry food?

OMG! Did you eat one of the other kitties, Zazou?!

Poor baby! I'm glad she at least likes her new food, Lut. Hope all goes well with the weight loss.

Zazou, you have been stuffing yourself, haven't you! Now it's time for that diet - I'm glad you like your new food. Now don't go and steal your sisters food off their bowls! You will feel much better when you're lost those extra pounds! Good luck, sweetie!

Oh, Zazou, some human who has a weight loss program has "Tweeted" this thread to a couple thousand followers. How mortifying, maybe she didn't look to see you are a CAT!

She has not lost her striking beauty! It takes my breath everytime I see her.. Remember, she is not fat, she is just "fluffy"!
