Thanks for the link, ChrisH! I am so paranoid about these types of things! I almost think it's worse that we live in the woods--sure it's a good place to run, but jeepers there are so many unidentifiable plants, and Malone likes to eat, well, every one of them! It's just a reconfirmation that I have to be very vigilant and watching.
Boy can I relate to this one today. Last night after dark Molly, our Yorkie went out for a while. We have a fenced in yard, so it's OK for her to go out alone.
About 15 minutes after she came in she went and laid down - then it started. She threw up about four times, until there was nothing left in her poor little tummy. She was scared and so was I. After about an hour of yacking, she laid down and went to sleep (sure seemed longer to me).
She chews on or eats everything in site - sticks, leaves, rocks, grass, etc. I'll check the yard out when I get home from work to see if I can pick out what it was. It was way too dark after she came in to even try to see what it was.
She's so small she just worries me to death when she gets sick. The bigger dogs have a reserve to work with, but she's so tiny.
Thanks for sharing the info. It's something we need to be aware of.

Thanks for posting that article, we have lantana in our yard and I will be extra careful when we let the pups play in the lower yard.
I didn't know about that plant.
