    Salad Thursday #390.

I thought a few 'salad days' are in order for this week.

Some fruit salad, regular and cole slaw.

I went to the store to pick up a few things for dinner, then decided to made a salad with ham, lettuce, tomatos, green onions, cukes, greek dressing and some cheese!!!

Sweet tea or ??? to drink?

    Done.

Actually I had a new rather good salad today; avocado turkey bacon club salad. I recommend it! That, and my usual vodka w/diet seven up, please!

    DONE!

    LOLOLOLOL

My mom was never a drinker...I went to her house one day with a 7&7 in hand... she could never remember that it was a 7 AND 7, not a '77', so to this day when someone orders a 7-up and ? I think about her.....

LH is that your GARDEN????? That's fabulous!! I so miss having a garden living in this condo/apartment. Not that it would have survived all of our hail storms this year mind you.

I would love to contribute some iciban salad! One of my fav's.

I'm having some minty green tea if anyone cares to join me.

    Oh Lady.....I've got dog cookies!!!!!!

Yep, that's our garden. Rather, it's the main garden about a month ago.

Now we have tomatoes ripening, corn is on the way, we're inundated with squash, we've got about 15-20 bags of green beans in the freezer, broccoli, and the cauliflower are on the way.

We also have an herb bed and a salad green bed.

Hopefully next year the blueberries and raspberry bushes will produce enough to do something with.

Cool! it's fun to see, you know I can't have a vegetable garden here for several reasons - mainly bad dirt and no sun to mention, not to mention the likely lead content of the soil even if I got sun.

Enjoy, you know I'm jealous, but allergic to most of it anyway. Has Marylin Jean learned to make cornhusk dolls yet?

I am going to petition LH to see if he needs a Mexican gardener.

I'll take my pay in produce.

As long as Herb is sleeping in it?

LOH is going to have to take pic of the other gardens so I can post them tomorrow. There's something to be said for making Bruschetta using only ingredients out of your own gardens.
