awwwwwww Lena. You are a cutie. congrats on DOTD.
Good morning, Lena! My goodness, just LOOK a the legs on you! You may be the first doggie ballerina star! Or a tap or ballroom dance expert! He hee
I can well believe you are an active little lady, with beagle in the mix. WOW! You got much of the Lhasa Apso look about you.
Yes, obedience classes would get terrific! My dogs are all rescues, but I take them anyway. The class helps you to bond with your human, to recognize them as the alpha dog. Take a group class, not one on one. Groups classes are less money, and you learn SO much from the other folks and their dogs, in the class. Most places, the fee is per dog, so everyone in your new family can attend each class!
Lena, you won't learn much in one hour class per week. No one does. But your family will learn how to interact with you, and how to read your body language. Make sure they realize that the homework is VERY important! And all the games and practices routines they learn, those are things they should do with you for life! Keeps you on your toes, Lena, he hee!
For some reason, taking classes also helps with potty training. I don't know why exactly, and I didn't believe it when I was told this. But I have seen it happen over, and over, and over again!
Sending you some belly rubs, Lena, if you can stop being so active long enough for your family to deliver them! Happy Dog of the Day!
.
SIMPLY ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!![]()

THANK YOU to your wonderful new family for giving you another chance at a great FURREVER home![]()
Good morning and a very happy Dog of the Day to you, Lena!Oh my gosh, how adorable, how pretty can a doggie get?
Just look at that BIG smile!
And I'm loving that darling, "pretty in pink" sweater against your snow white coat, and sparkly neckwear! You're a girly-girl, that's for sure (though being the active, adventure loving pup that you are, no doubt you can hold your own with the "big boys!"
) And yep, I thought at first you must be a Lhasa...until I saw those long gams! hehe Cindy Crawford's got nothing on you, sweetheart!
We're so gratefu to your family for adopting you, for commiting themselves to helping you blossom into the most well mannned happy and trusting pup you can be! I just know you're going to shine in obedience school, and have a blast too! Enjoy your well earned day of honor, sweetheart! I hope you're treated to all sorts of fun activities, lots of love, and of course, a few extra treats!
Bunches of hugs and kisses to you, precious Lena!
