Me: Who is Saint David and why is today Saint David's Day?
Wikipedia: Saint David is the patron saint of Wales. The first of March is the feast day of Saint David.

So, Happy Saint David's Day, ChrisH and any other Welsh PTrs

Since this is the first Monday of March, today was the observation of Casimir Pulaski Day in Illinois. He was a Polish-born cavalry officer in the Revolutionary War who helped train soldiers and establish our cavalry program. His day is a biggie in Chicago because we have a large Polish population. So ... fellow Poles out there - happy Pulaski Day! Think I will eat some potato and leek soup and then a couple pierogi, and celebrate both.
Praying for peace in the Middle East, Ukraine, and around the world.

I've been Boo'd ... right off the stage!

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!
Brrrr, I've been Frosted! Thank you, Asiel and Pomtzu!
