Babs is an interesting story. Apparantly a house near my parents had a bunch of chickens they were using for fighting and when the cops went to raid the place they let all of the chickens go . Babs landed in my parents yard and my mom decided to adopt her. The animal control said as long as she didn't get out again, my mom could keep her lol. My mom is incredibly good with birds and built a huge pen out in the back yard for her complete with an insulated place for her to nest in the winter and a top to the fence so the hawks and such can't get in.
