We have heard the story of your M Lester!
It was put there by Mary Magdelane when the Baby Jesus was crying in the manger and a Tabby Cat came over and comfortes him.
And Mary put a M on the Tabby Cats forehead as a reward.
Thats a greta story you have and you certainly are a discerning Cat to find just the right Guardian who will love and treasure you and who you can love in return.

Lester, I know very well how special rescue kitties are! When our Tomas went to the Bridge at 21, we didn't think ANY cat could take his place! We now are madly in love with our two latest rescues, Buddy and Mau Mau. Mau Mau and Buddy are both bottom balanced due to the good eats around here, they are both loved beyond relief and spoiled rotten. Mau Mau can leap like you, but Buddy likes it best close to terra firma. People should not think twice about adopting from a shelter. There are some awesome kitties there just waiting for a loving home! Happy COTD Lester! You are all lucky in your home.

Your Lester is so beautiful and looks so much like my dear Beyli who I lost on January 1st. Beyli also chose me by reaching out and grabbing my elbow with his paw. We met at the Animal Rescue Network in Montreal and he was in a room with at least 40 other cats, trying to be invisible because he was one of the only ones declawed (so he was thin given he had to grab food on the run). Lester is alot like my Beyli was so I know you are in for many fun-filled years - he has such a great character and knew what he was doing when he chose you. Enjoy your time together.

Hello there Lester! Happy Cat of the Day to you, handsome boy! I so enjoyed reading your human's most entertaining write up! You truly are one special fellow; as your person says, special in your very own unique way, loved not more or less than any other, but simply for who you are!

Thank you Lester for being there for your Mommy when she needed you most, helping to heal her heart after the passing of your beloved predecessor, Peggy. As your wise Mommy has said, no one, no other kitty, can ever replace the one who came before. Instead, you take your very own special place in your Mommy's heart, right beside Peggy's! She is one lucky lady, having been "tapped" for approval that fateful day at the shelter!

When I first saw him he came over to me, stuck his paw out, and patted me on the cheek.

Excellent work, Lester! You chose just the right person for you!

My fur-nephew Milo chose my brother's family in exactly the same way - he called my niece over with a meow and when she went to him, he reached out his paw to her, and it will be 3 years in April.
