Trying to capture the fall... (more DSLR pics)

Took more photos today with the Sony alpha 100 I borrowed... While I'm quite pleased with the macro shots, I'm not too happy with the landscape photos. But maybe the light wasn't good enough this late afternoon.

Anyway, here's some autumn light for you:

Wanted to take some more pictures today, but when I was on photo tour around noon today the light was dull and boring, and later, when the sun came out, I was just to tired!

Your photos are great - the light in the first series is just lovely! You are a gifted photographer, thanks for sharing with us!

Autumn is not as far along here, everything is still green, and today it is all very wet!

My local specialist here agrees with you on the landscape- there is too much red in the green and he thinks there should have been enough light.
The macro shots are fantastic- if I could paint I would like to paint them

    Thanks Karen and Barbara!

Still wondering what went wrong with the landscape shots! Not sure whether it's the camera itself, or if I made something wrong. I'm still not familiar with the Sony, and since I haven't gotten a manual for it, I don't know how to do all the settings...

You take beautiful photos! The landscape is really pretty there. I loved the pictures (and Lyra did too!).

BEAUTIFUL JOB! (as usual) I didn't see anything wrong with the landscape ones but I guess that is what makes you a better photographer than me.. You have a lot better eye than for color and detail than I do?

Lovely pictures Kirsten. Looks very much like it does out here, you can see the fall, you've captured it beautifully.
