    Luna relaxed in the sun (pics)

    Last weekend, Luna enjoyed a sunny spot on the carpet. Tried to take pics, and even though they didn't turn out well because I still don't know how to deal with these strong contrasts of light, I decided to share them with you. It's one of the rare occasions where you can see Luna relaxed and happy!

    Beautiful, Kirsten, absolutely beautiful! That refers to the pictures and the beautiful Luna!!! I love the one where she's licking her paw. The lighting is perfect, it really brings out how gorgeous Luna actually is.

    What do you mean, "the pictures did not turn out well." These are gorgeous photos that capture the contrasting lights beautifully! You truly have a talent and I always look forward to pictures of your girls.

    Thanks! Well, they look pretty dark here on my monitor, but I know it has the tendency to show pictures a bit darker than they actually are. Maybe they're looking better for you than they look for me here.

    Kirsten, you got some good shots of Luna there. She does seem quite relaxed and happy.

    If you have Photoshop, you could try Adjustment>Shadow/highligt.

    Awesome! Beautiful! The darkness with the added light coming through is what makes them so cool. I vote for the paw licking one too. Girl...you need to be doing photography as more than a hobby.

    Those are such wonderful shots of Luna , I wish my Photos of The Found Ctas turned out nearly that well.
    I still say a Book of Lily and Luna Photos would be a best seller, especially on Pet Talk.

    Thanks, I wish I could do more! These days, someone gave me her DSLR so I can try it, and it's really such a difference; the quality is so much better, compared to the Canon S5 that I have! But I'm beginning to wonder if I will ever live to see the day I own my own DSLR, so I can do some more professional photography!!! *sigh* Geez, it's no fun being poor! LOL

    As always your photos are fantastic...but then you do have some very good models!
    Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

    HI THERE IN GERMANY! I HAVE TO SAY I ADORE LUNA'S PICTURES SO MUCH! SEEMS TO ME THE PICTURE QUALITY IS AWESOME-I KNOW IT CAN BE HARD TAKING PICTURES OF CATS.
