I went Deep Sea fishing and all I got was this lousy

    ......

    STINGRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yikes:

Man was it crazy. that thing fought me HARD and I was exhausted by the end. Now I have perfect little circle bruises to show for it on my stomach from the rod lol.

Here are pics of me fighting it and trying to bring it up

And here is my stingray. We didn't bring it up into the boat or anything but it had about a 3-3.5 foot wing span. It was NOT little lol.

I love saltwater fishing! We have our own boat though. My boyfriend actually brought a 15 foot shark all the way to the boat a few years ago.

That's cool. See - you built up all those muscles lugging Hannah around and now you've put them to good use fighting that ray.
I love deep sea fishing. I went out one time when my brother still lived in FL, and caught a barracuda!

    Thank you

I'm really NOT disappointed about catching a sting ray lol it was a seriously cool experience and probably not one I will have again... I mean how often do you catch sting ray? I didn't even KNOW it was possible with a hook and bait lol

But I am quite sore now. My tummy is covered in little round bruises from the end of the rod in my gut lol.

She was a trooper... She fought the thing for like 20 minutes. Near the end, like the last 30 feet, she was WHOOPED. She said, "I can't do it"... I was like, "baby, you HAD A BABY! You can do this." And she did.

    Way to go.

I lived in Jupiter, FL for my highschool and college years and was a very active diver.... Seen a lot of rays. That was the biggest stingray I ever saw. Seen bigger Mantas and Eagle's... But, Wow.

I took LOH deep sea fishing once, and she brought up, among other things, 2 dogfish at once............one of which was lassoed around the tail.

THats a hard fight. It seems every time I go halibut fishing I pull up a skate. 20 minutes can be just the start of pulling up a good size skate, but the same can be said for a barndoor halibut.

Good job, its to bad you couldnt keep it and eat it.

I caught one, too, but couldn't get rid of him for 3 years.

Seriously, though, that is pretty neat. I've never done it but my mom had and she loved it.
