I've made this cake for a Halloween potluck at work. A couple years ago a co-worker did the same. I know several others here on PT have made it.
I think it's funny. Disgusting? Yes. But still funny.

I made one and it was great. Forget microwaving the Tootsie Rolls, wash your hands and roll them out by hand and toss in some Almond Roca candy for effect!

Owning a cat made me hesitate to eat the danged thing, but an artiste must stand behind his work!!!

I made one of those cakes for the dinner my family had on the occasion of my parents' 40th anniversary. Everyone loved it.
