My baby ~ over the hill

Or so he thinks anyway. Today Steve is 40, and feeling somewhat down about it. His little girl started her first official job yesterday at the beach (that's work?? ) and after her senior year in h.s. coming up in Sept, she will be off to college. And his baby boy will be a teenager in less than 2 months.
So on Sunday, we will have an official Over the Hill Birthday/Father's Day celebration for him - complete with the black balloons and decorations - just to make him feel better about it.

So Happy Birthday to my baby boy, with wishes that the best is yet to come.

Amazing how our kids get older and we don't, huh? My son and I are the same age now. Happy birthday, Steve, and an "atta girl" to your mom!
    Blessings,
    Mary

Like Mary's siggy say - "Time and unforeseen occurrence befall us all". I, for one, have learned this only too well the past several years. But - I plan on being around a lot longer - so this is a warning to all!

As I tell everyone "Don't think I'm gonna check out early. I have no intention of making that many people happy all at once".
    Blessings,
