One of the nicest things I have heard in a long time...

My friend was at the state park last weekend and came across 2 goslings that appeared injured. They were separated from their flock and one of them couldn't walk at all. She called another friend who has a farm and does tons of animal rescue. She came to the park and they found the more injured one. The other one had jumped in the water. They picked up the injured one with a towel and found that his leg was tightly wrapped with fishing line. They cut the line and unwrapped it but his leg remained swollen and cut. He did start to move it though. The woman with the farm took him home and cared for him. He was playing, eating and swimming but he was alone. So...she went to a farm and bought 2 goslings. The 2 babies quickly took to the injured gosling and so now he has a family! Geese need to be in flocks and I just think that was the nicest thing! My friend went back to try to find the other gosling and she did find him in the brush but he jumped in the water again. We will have to go this weekend and bring a net. He needs to be with a flock too...so hopefully, he can go join the other one and the new family at the farm.
