    Weasle introduction

This, my friends, is the new squeaky wheel of the house. Its my girlfriend's 5-month-old ferret, Hlao. This whole ferret thing is more like adopting a wild monkey than a domestic animal. He's free range, except for the rat room, because the cages we own with small enough bar spacing he has destroyed completely. We are having no luck with potty training even though we have 6 litter boxes. He likes to play but he eats the stuffing from his toys, so he can't have toys much. That means he gets into everything. He's sweet though and sleeps on your chest or curls up with the dog. He's going to turn my hair prematurely grey.

Aww, he looks younger than 5 months? Maybe he's deaf too like Nakita, judging from his markings. I know what you mean about turning you grey. My two are constantly causing Havok, especially Willow who likes to chase around the cats and nip them on the butt. Mine are out most of the time but when company comes over they both go in a cage...Willow more so because she has a VERY bad habit of biting people's toes!

He's definately not deaf. I might be able to sneak around more without him following me if he was. He likes to be underfoot, directly. His birth certificate says January 11 so he's just under 5 months. He was probably 4 when I took the picture. Its a bigger stuffed animal he's next to as well.

That looks about right. Nakita is 5 months and ginormous! Makes me think I need to stick my fuzz butt on a diet. When she hops around her belly jiggles haha. I was just judging by his cute little kitten face. Totally adorable! He looks very similar to Nakita too.

You can see pictures of my ferrets here. If you scroll all the way to the bottom there are better pictures of Nakita.

    Aww, he is super cute!
Gosh, my demon-ferret is enough of a handful and he is about to turn five years old... I can't imagine having a baby ferret around. You all must have nerves of steel.
