    Long time, no see...Finn!

We spent our three day weekend in Louisiana with David's family. Had our first of three baby showers at the Sabine River. About 20 people and 11 dogs. It was awesome. Here are few photos of my handsome boy in the woods.

And, here is a photo of the pack we had at the campsite for the entire weekend (one other dog and three puppies were there later).

From left to right...Finn (yellow lab, ours), Godiva (chocolate lab mix, David's sister's), Dudley (black mini schnauzer, ours), Patches (tri color rat terrier, David's parents'), Freckles (orange and white mix, ours), and Nestle (chocolate lab, David's sister's)

Thanks, he is! He actually looks pretty stoic in these shots, but I have some others from the weekend where he's in action. These more posed shots just turned out so nicely!

I love how you can look at that one picture that shows his wet self and see the evidence of the twisty action as a dog shakes dry from the pattern left in his fur, especially on the tail!

Sounds like a great day for everyone concerned!

Wow! I do not remember seeing photos of him before. He is a gorgeous Labbie boy! The two close-ups of his face are beautiful. His eyes are just so full of expression. Is he a Yellow or Fox-Red? Casey's color has faded so much on her face that I forget how nice the darker color looks.

Yeah, he was pretty much wet the entire time. He was wet in all these photos, for sure. I love that curly look, too. And, everyone had a great time the whole weekend, it was awesome!

Thank you! It has been awhile since I posted, but he has a lot of photos on Pet Talk. He's very photogenic. As for his color, he is kindof in between...the people I got him from called him fox red, but I've seen fox reds that look Irish Setter red, so it's hard for me to call him that. He's wet in these photos, too, and that always makes him a little darker. I loved the darker yellow when I saw him with his lighter littermates.

Aw, I haven't seen pictures of beautiful Finn for quite a while, so this is a nice surprise.

I love the picture of them all running - don't they look like they are just having a ball?

Also, that is a pretty area where you camped.

Thanks, everyone! It is an awesome place to camp. It's really secluded, so the dogs are able to run. But, a busier beach is just a short drive down the road. It's a perfect spot!

Those are some stunning pictures of Finn. He has grown up to be such a handsome, classic, distinguished Lab! I remember gangly teenage Finn like it was just yesterday... *le sigh*

It sounds like you guys had lots of fun. I hope you got cool baby shower stuff! I love baby showers, they're always hilarious.
