    WELL- CONGRATS ON BEING OUR CAT OF THE DAY! YOU ARE SIMPLY DIVINE AND SOOOO GORGEOUS! I ENJOYED YOUR PICTURES AND IT IS INTERESTING TO READ ABOUT YOU BEING IN DUBLIN! I HAVE TO SAY IT IS PARTIALLY BECAUSE I AM PERHAPS BONO AND U2'S BIGGEST FAN! I KNOW THEY ARE ORIGINALLY FROM DUBLIN. MAYBE YOUR HUMANS MET ONE OR MORE OF THEM IN A LOCAL PUB SOMEWHERE THERE! MY CATS LOVE AITTING WITH ME WATCHING THEIR DVDS AND LISTENING TO THEIR CDS! CAN YOU IMAGINE? I AM ALSO VERY GLAD THAT YOU WERE ADOPTED BY GREAT HUMANS WHO GAVE YOU A GOOD LIFE! HA SO YOU ARE HOUSEMATES WITH A JACK RUSSELL TERRIER? I THINK THEY ARE NICE DOGS. I HAVE BEEN RAISED BY CATS IN A SENSE-MY WHOLE ADULT LIFE AFTER THE AIR FORCE.     Enjoyed your story so much Halli. First, I must say that your jaw surgery has made you more distinguished and unique. You are a mischevious girl but that just makes you more interesting. I love how you try to wake your humans up for food in the morning. You are a very special girl and deserve the honor of being out COTD.

    Halli, I wondered about your jaw, thinking that you were holding your mouth that way on purpose as if to say "Yes, yes, get on w/it, snap the picture already!" Then I read your story. It just makes you that much more unique. I hope that your future escapades aren't quite so dramatic and that you have plenty of lives left to enjoy w/your family. Have fun (but not too much) on your day as COTD, pretty girl.

    Hello there beautiful Halli, happy Cat of the Day to you, sweetheart! I was so touched by your Mommy's loving tribute to her beautiful girl, by your incredible life story! You certainly had a rough start at life Halli, and we give heartfelt thanks to all of those who had a hand in rescuing you, and of course to your very special family, for welcoming you home! It's painful to imagine all that you had to go through following your frightful fall from that roof! I'm not sure just how many of your 9 lives that terrifying episode ate up, but it's nothing short of a miracle that you survived! I guess we can thank your amazing, indomitable spirit, along with your family's unwavering devotion, and the fabulous care of the medical staff, for that! No doubt about it, you and your family were meant to be as one Halli, and I wish for you many, many more happy, love filled (and uneventful) years together! Great thanks to your Mom for sharing your inspirational story with us! I hope you and your family enjoy an extra special, love filled day of celebration! Cuddles and kisses to you, precious Halli!!!

    shattered jaw

    Halli is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! She has the same coloring as my mom's kitty "Bratt".
    And if I hadn't read the part about her shattered jaw, I would've thought that she was wearing the same face that my kitty "Frosty" does whenever we have the camera out... she HATES to have her picture taken & will growl at us ... LOL
