PLEASE CROSSPOST

This is from one of my yahoo groups. If any of you can foster these 2 dogs until this women gets back on her feet I'd be willing to help out with transport.

Thanks,
Melissa

My neighbors' friend needs help. Does anyone know of a safe haven where this woman, 2 children and her beloved 2 dogs can go? Or, a foster home for her dogs until she can get out of the house with the 2 kids and find a place? They live in Reading, PA.

Anyone have any suggestions? Reading , PA

My neighbors' friend needs help. Does anyone know of a safe haven where this woman, 2 children and her beloved 2 dogs can go? Or, a foster home for her dogs until she can get out of the house with the 2 kids and find a place? They live in Reading, PA.

The family lives in Reading , PA. The husband/father is an abusive alcoholic. Here is her recent email regarding the latest event:

Well I hope God hears our prayers sweetheart, because now more than ever...WE NEED GOD! He got drunk again, last night! He was such a mess that he took it out on our dogs! He was making food on the grill, put it in the shed and covered it w/''aluminum foil''(like thats gonna do anything)... left it sit in the shed-DOOR WIDE OPEN, came inside, and forgot about it...well needless to say, our 2 dogs A husky, Nikita, and our doberman/shep, Tasha, smelled the food and had a feast...when he actually remembered, he went out and 1/2 the food was gone...he DID have a lot before they ate it...he flipped!... He grabbed them, drug them and whacked the Hell out of them, especially Tasha! She actually bit him, bc she was defending herself, and that made him even more angry! My girls saw him and started crying, "Mom, make him stop!" Well needless to say, I'VE HAD IT! It's been over for a LONG time already, but last night actually gave me the strength to tell him, "IT'S OVER!"

I don't know where we are going to go, because right now, we don't have "anywhere to go", let alone money to move anywhere! I guess I need my faith, and trust in God, more than ever, to hear my prayers! My girls and I are a nervous wreck because of him, and now, we might actually find peace and serenity, that is, once we "find", somehow, a safe haven. I'm kinda scared, because I am unsure of his mentallity when it "really" hits him, but we CAN NOT live here anymore!

Do you know of any organizations, that I can contact, that can help us financially till we get on our feet?

Even if we can get help for a 'few months', till I can get support coming in. Please let me know! IT'S URGENT!!

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Sincerely,
Kelly Capriotti
