What a dog!!! Gabby you are dog person's dream dog! I think I am in LOVE with you!
There are going to be quite a few dogs with their noses out of joint when their humans relate the story of the Dog of the Day for April 09, 2001. The standard of excellence has certainly been raised a notch or two by you my dear Gabby. I could go on to rave about your beauty...those eyes, that face, the tip of your ears...but I know others too want to extol your many fine attributes. Therefore let me just say how proud I am to wish the heartiest congratulations to the most marvelous Gabby and his family as our DOG OF THE DAY.

Wow! Gabby looks so much like my dog Nietzsche! If they were together they would think they were looking in a mirror. Nietzsche is almost 2 years old and I got him from the Atlanta Humane Society in September 1999. I was told he is a Shepard/Lab mix but others have said he looks like he has some boxer in him. I have never heard of a Catahoula. Can anyone tell me a little more about the breed????? Nietzsche seems to have similar traits to Gabby. I bet he's a great dog like mine. Sometimes I look at him and wonder what I did to get so lucky to have such a great friend in my life. Keep up the good work Gabby and know that you have a twin in Atlanta!!!!

Beautiful Gabby. I see nothing but pure love in those gorgeous, big brown eyes. From day one, you were truly a dream dog, born to excel!!
