Found my ADD limit.

I recently picked up a third computer to learn Windows 7 and Ubuntu with, Ubuntu is very cool and WIN7 is pretty slick. Problem is, unless I have a direct need to do something in Ubuntu or WIN7 I dont use the third box.

Good news is Im getting my first recover and restore job in the next couple of days.

I need to get the cube desktop working, I may use it more then.

I need to get the cube desktop working, I may use it more then.

First, make sure you have desktop effects enabled. Then do the following:

1. Run:

sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager

in a terminal.
2. Click System - Preferences - CompizConfig Settings Manager
3. Check the box next to "Rotate Cube", it will prompt you to enable Desktop Cube, click yes.

Thats it! To activate the cube, ctrl + alt + left mouse button click.

I tried finding a guide on the Ubuntu Forums for something like this, but I, sadly, didnt. I may have to write one later on. Heh, I post on there as Hellow, if you go on there you may see me .
