    What a beautiful girl you are, Maxi! And so well taken care of, too. Glad to hear your wings aren't clipped. That isn't fair to birdies.

    My parakeet used to land on my head, too . . . you are a darling budgie and hope you have lots of fun in celebration of your POTD honour, Maxi!

    WELL HELLO OVER THERE IN GERMANY! I HOPE IT IS WARMER THERE THAN HERE IN UPSTATE NY/USA RIGHT NOW! THOSE FEATHERS ARE SOOOO GORGEOUS-WOW!THIS BIRD IS THE PERFECT POTD! As a child I had a blue Budgie boy named Bobby, and just like you Maxi, he was the sweetest, most loving feathered friend! You are one lucky birdie, having a family as responsible, as loving and caring as yours...and they are equally blessed to have you as their joyful, best feathered friend! I hope you're spoiled rotten today sweetheart, treated to all of those yummy, fave foods of yours, and lots of extra cuddle and play/flight time!     What a beautiful girl you are, Maxi! Your colors are spectacular, plus you are extremely photogenic.

    I had a blue male budgie (my first) and he was always my favorite. He's been gone a long time, but I remember him every day.

    How lucky you are to have such wonderful care and a great diet! No wonder you look so good..........

    what a beautiful bird! very pretty, I would love to get a bird or 2 but with so many cats, not a good idea. I would also love to get a dog, one of these days when I can afford another animal I love dogs, big and small but I am thinking about a German shepard, a puppy, maybe next year.
