    Designing Pouncer

My therapist recommended that I do some needlework at night to de-stress and relax. He probably thought I'd go out, buy a kit to do a little sampler..... little did the dr. expect me to design my own and stitch it!

    This morning's progress photo:

I should be done in about a week.... and then I can start designing one of the girls' photos

PS: Funny how the lighting conditions changed the coloring of the fabric and such! The middle one was scanned, so I'd say that is closst to reality.

WOW Kim! You are SO talented!! That is awesome! I just can't believe people can do something like that.. It looks exactly like the picture! Can't wait to see it finished and what you do with it.. Pillow? Quilt? A wall hanging?

Wow, it's really good - I'm very impressed! When this is finished, I bet you want to make one of the others too.

Wow! I know you could do that with a colour pencil- but that you can translate it freehand into needlework impresses me very much.

Totally awesome!!! You've done an extraordinary job and thank you so much for sharing this with all of us. You certainly are very talented, I know the needle from the thread and that's the extent of my sewing ability.

How large is it in size? Maybe you could buy one of those multi-picture frames and put one of each of your beloved kitties in there, to have for always.

    It's beautiful!

I am so impressed Kim. that going to be one Great Tapestry of your Little Pouncer , you could do this for the untalented Pet Talkers and make some money on the side.

That is great! You do really nice work and you are doing it so quickly too.
I hardly have any time to do cross stitch anymore, I stick to small projects like ornaments which don't take forever to finish like some of my bigger projects.
Did you use a software program to make a cross stitch chart from a photo of Pouncer?
If you didn't and you did it all freehand, I'm really, really impressed with your talent.
I can't wait to see the finished one of Pouncer and the ones you do of your other kitties too.
    RIP sweet Samantha
