    New Foster: Ben

This is Ben, the Bichon. I picked him up from the SPCA earlier today, for Small Paws Rescue. He is 8 years old, about 17 pounds, and a real sweetie! He has a spine problem which we need to have diagnosed.

Here he is in the back yard, meeting Sugar, Lacey and Marlin:

    Two more!

And in the house, meeting Dad:

    That's all.

Awww, another white fluff ball!! He is adorable. He looks like he's fitting in well. What do the cats think? Or are they used to you bringing home newbies?
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

This fluff is SO sweet and good natured. I already wish I had adopted him outright, rather than through the program. He fits in as though he has always been here -- dogs, cats, house layout, he is just cool with all of it!

Lol.. look at all those pictures of fluff! How do you keep them all straight?! lol.. I'd have to color-code them or something since they all look like twins.

Ben is a real cutie. He looks like he's a puppy, not 8 yrs old. I'm glad
    he feels so at home.

Oh, Sandie! Ben is a cutie-pie.
Your dad is a real dog lover isn't he? He's always going out of his way to make sure they get love (I see his hand down petting Ben already).

Hugs to you for rescuing Ben.

Awwwwww!!!! Hi Ben!! What a great name. The same name as my RB Benny. He was a white American Eskimo. He is adorable Sandie!!

This foster/Bichon ownership thing really suits you and Dad.

Just one request......can you put name tags on all the dogs so I can identify them?

    I've been Boo'd...
    Thanks Barry!

    Ben, welcome to the Family
Thanks for the vote of confidence, Jen!

Name tags, color codes, yup, it does get tricky to tell them apart. I am not use to the longer trim Ben is modeling, and I worry about it matting up. So he may get a trim soon.

We really need to get the spine situation understood (have the vet appt for Thursday). His back wobbles when he walks, and he can't jump up on anything. Needs help getting in and out of the car.
