Who's the Boss around here?

This JUST happened, and I had to tell someone, lol.

Dad has been sitting in his recliner, and Sugar on his lap. Well, Dad had to make a bathroom trip, so he set her on the floor, and got up. While the chair was empty, Sugar jumped back up and got herself nicely settled.

Dad returned, looked over the situation (we are watching a TV show, he never said a word!) walked over and picked up the 2 step stool, set that in front of his recliner and settled on it!

I was laughing so hard, and I jumped up to grab the camera, as I KNEW it was a great shot, the dog in the plush chair, the old gent with his cane sitting on the stool. WELL, Dad got up, took 2 steps, and sat in MY chair! (Also a recliner) Now I laughing and giggling and can hardly stop. Never did get that photo.

So I picked Sugar up, deposited her BACK in Dad's lap, and took his chair.

Any questions as to who rules around here??

No question in my mind! Sugar, do you love your granddad or what? You kept his chair for him!

I am just seeing this, Sandie. So funny!!! What a laugh riot. There is no question at all as to who rules the roost here either.

I especially notice this when I'm getting up in the morning and I have to become a contortionist to get out of bed while the girls are sitting there watching me. Heaven forbid they should move to avoid me dislocating something.

That's so funny!!

When my pups were allowed on the couches Sierra would sit where anyone had gotten up. I think it was all about where the warm spot was!
