how to make a dog bed

So harley was in need of a dog bed and me, being the crafty person I am (haha) decided to just make him a bed instead of spending $30 to $40 dollars on one. I spent $13 in total... Here is step by step of my ordeal.... never again will I try to to anything around that dog... ever! lmao

First, you find a puppy that attacks everthing ( he liked my shoes)

Then, you find a color of fabric he likes

    Alot

Next measure the fabric.... Harley helped... kindda

    cont.

After that, try to saw the edges.... with puppy attached still

Then, stuff the pillow while getting attacked everytime your hand goes inside the bed

Also, try to prevent him from eating the stuffing.... repeat for 2 hours

Try to hold onto the bed while he bites, scratches, and pulls the bed away from you.... that happens.. alot

    finally

after yelling "stop! Leave that alone, stop biting me, stop tearing up the bed, ect!" Try to hurry up and sow up the end on the bed. Finally you will have a complete bed and a happy pup!

Aww. Harley looks so cute in that last pic. He's like "Why are you looking at me like that mom? What did I do?"

My mom and I went out and bought Butto a new bed for Christmas. First she didn't like it and refused to be by it. Then she only used it as a pillow. Then one night I caught her sleeping on it. After that she loved that bed. Until one day I came home and found brown stuffing all over my kitchen and saw an empty bed and Butto looking up at me with stuffing on her nose.

lmao! yeah, that what I'm afraid of.. I think Harley really likes his bed ( just a hunch I have) but I'm afraid that now that he knows what I put in there... he's gonna try to get it out. I can't trust him alone with anything, lol.

    n/p

I got the stuffing at walmart in 16oz bags. I think it was about 3 dollars per bag. I used three for harleys bed which is about 4' by 4'. It's called Mourning Glory Cluster Stuff. It is increadably soft. it is supposed to do great in the washer and dryer, never clump, and be hypo-allergenic. I love it and so does Harley. I'm going to make two more for my other dogs. The beds are so easy to make. I made one for my cats when I built them a cat tree and they loved it.
