    Hello From Souraya and Drake

    Ciao everyone!

    Sorry for our long absense! Andrew, Drake, and I are still in Italy. We will be moving again in a few weeks. To Germany

    We are still up to the same ole stuff. Adventures and travels when we are not working. Not slowing down and neither is Drake. We began snowshoeing last winter season and he comes along. Great fun for everyone.

    Here are a few pictures from this past year!

    Great to hear from you! And great pictures, too! Drake sure looks like he's enjoying the snow! The Alps are a far cry from his life in Georgia! Where in Germany will you be?

    We will be going to Mannheim, Germany at the end of this month. Andrew still flies for "unka sam." LOL. He hasn't been deployed in 18 months which has been a blessing for us.

    And when we strap on the boards, Drake just runs along our side. He loves it! Some of the places have lifts, and we do ride them alot especially on days we don't have Drake. But the lifts don't go to the best parts of the mountains! Plus, it's way more fun to walk up a mountain!!

    Shawnee is adorable! Drake is a GSD/wolf hybrid.

    Thanks for all the comments, guys. Sorry I am late in my response. Life has been a bit challenging since Jan 3. I broke my left wrist snowboarding and am in a cast Things are very difficult to do with only one arm! The break is a pretty nasty one and may require surgery. I find out next week. My entire schedule and routine has been altered

    It is a rainy day here in Italy and Drake seems to be exercising the stubborn part of his personality. He is sitting on the front porch watching the rain come down. He refuses to come inside. I think he is mad at me because I haven't taken him to work with me since my injury. It's just too much to handle.

    Otherwise, he has been a great and sympathetic nurse. LOL.

    Good to hear from you again Souraya, and good to see that gorgeous boy of yours again, Drake looks good too ... just joking, though your Andrew is one good looking guy it has to be said.

    Sorry to hear about your wrist, sending positive and good thoughts that it heals well and doesn't need surgery.
